Review by hotel critic
Nestled in the scenic Kleinriver Valley, White Water Farm proved to be an exquisite retreat for my recent long weekend escape. The moment we arrived, the charm of the historic setting enveloped us, where each spacious suite effortlessly blended comfort with stunning views of the mountains and lush gardens. We particularly enjoyed the generous breakfast baskets delivered daily, brimming with fresh, wholesome produce that awakened both our taste buds and enthusiasm for the day ahead. Even in the dreary weather, we found solace by the poolside, immersing ourselves in the serene atmosphere of the farm, where every corner invited relaxation. As a landscape photographer, the surroundings were a visual feast that beckoned exploration despite the rain. The friendly donkeys and playful pigs were a hit with my traveling companion, adding an extra layer of joy to our stay. With complimentary Wi-Fi and an intimate setting, White Water Farm offered everything we needed to feel rejuvenated and connected amidst nature's beauty. This tranquil haven not only provided a delightful retreat but also left me with a newfound appreciation for the splendid landscapes of the Irish countryside combined with South Africa’s rugged elegance. I can't recommend it enough for families, couples, or solo adventurers alike—truly a place that captures the heart.
